Location. The 42 acre Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Fla., sits on a tranquil, lagoon laced oasis two miles from Universal's theme parks and 12 miles from Walt Disney World Resort. The resort provides complimentary scheduled shuttles to the Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and Wet 'n Wild.
Hotel Features. Augustine's Bar & Grill serves buffet style breakfasts and a la carte meals. At Gatorville, tropical drinks and unique fare are served poolside. The hotel boasts three heated outdoor pools, a fitness center, a sauna and a steam room. Kid friendly amenities include a playground, a game room, an ice cream shop and two pools.
Guestrooms. The Old Florida styled guestrooms display pale yellow walls, madras fabrics and bamboo chairs. Rooms are equipped with high speed Internet access. Amenities include Golden Door toiletries, and in room massages are available by appointment. Select guestrooms feature alcoves with bunk beds, a children's table and a nightlight.
Expert Tip. The I Ride Trolley stops outside the hotel and takes passengers along a six mile stretch of Orlando's main tourist strip, International Drive, for a fee.
